On October 15, the Conference 2026 of Guangdong Provincial Alliance for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Institutions and its inaugural academic symposium was held at the Guangzhou Panyu Campus of Jinan University. Under the theme "Pooling Wisdom in the Bay Area, Advancing Education to Strengthen the Province: New Missions for Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education during the 15th Five-Year Plan," the conference brought together representatives from approximately 50 relevant institutions and universities across the province to explore pathways for the high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in Guangdong, with the explicit goal of establishing a national demonstration zone for high-quality Sino-foreign cooperative education. Aberdeen Institute is one of the first member units of the alliance, aiming to leverage the alliance platform to deepen collaborative efforts and contribute to the development of a talent hub within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
