On 28 May, a delegation from the University of Aberdeen Global Partnership and Recruitment Office visited the Aberdeen Institute. During the meeting, representatives from both sides conducted in-depth discussions including student recruitment of PGT&PGR Program, student exchange, mutual visits and initiative of SCNU-UoA International Education Innovation Hub.

Vice Dean of Aberdeen Institute Chai Shaoming, Shen Yingshan and Chen Huan reported progress on PGT&PGR   programs, laboratory construction, student exchange and staff development. Ashar Ehsan noted that the University of Aberdeen is committed to building a global education network, regarding SCNU as a key strategic partner. He expressed hopes for further cooperation on PGT programs and the Study Hub. Joseph Whimster introduced the UoAs global recruitment and student exchange programs, calling for deeper collaboration in PGT recruitment and student mobility. Wu Jianli highlighted the 19-year partnership and the strong alignment of international education philosophies and goals, proposing that both sides leverage the International Education Innovation Hubas a strategic initiative to establish overseas education sites and deepen bilateral cooperation between the two universities.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the New Engineering Building and laboratories. Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in global recruitment, talent cultivation and exchanges.
