On Jan. 14, the 1st Operation Management Team (OMT) meeting in 2025-26 academic year of Aberdeen Institute was successfully held in the way of hybrid conference. OMT members from SCNU and UoA jointly reviewed and discussed on key agenda items, including previous meeting minutes, table of actions, student update, 2025 MoE evaluation, financial update, English provisions and outcomes, new teaching model, JI extension and 2026 student enrollment plan, mutual visits and SCNU acdemic training program, new engineering building and report from Core OMT. As highlighted by Dean Biqing Zeng in his concluding remarks, the in-depth discussions on each agenda item have underscored both parties’ shared aspiration and firm commitment to co-building a high-quality joint institute. Specifically, both teams have reached consensus on deepening cooperation in enhancing teaching quality and building an integrated undergraduate-master-doctoral talent cultivation system.
