On June 11th, the 1st Academic Committee meeting in 2025 of the Aberdeen Institute was held online successfully. The meeting was chaired by the academic vice dean Yingshan Shen.
Members from SCNU and UoA jointly reviewed and commented on agenda items including minute of previous meeting along with table of actions, confirming graduation / degree classification, 2024-2025 Graduation Thesis Summary – Lessons Learned, Student Performance for 1st Graduates, English language provisions, Block Teaching Extension, PGT Programme, BMIS Programme Transfer, MoE Annual reviews 2024 and 2025, as well as report from JI academic group.
The Academic Committee acknowledged the hard work of the students and congratulated them on achieving double degrees. Students have been recognised globally through the acceptances to the top 100 universities. The Committee also recognized the hard work and commitments by all the SCNU and UoA staff to support the Aberdeen Institute.
