From 21 to 25 April, Aberdeen Institute Vice Dean Shen Yingshan led a delegation to the University of Aberdeen, meeting with key academic Schools and Departments. Members included Deputy Director of SCNU Postgraduate Affairs Office Prof Jinli Xie, Deputy Director of SCNU Academic Affairs Office Prof Yi Zhao, Deputy Director of SCNU Strategic Planning Office Dr. Donghua Lin and Director of Teaching Affairs Office at Aberdeen Institute Liqi.
Discussions were held on several topics, including teaching plans adjustment and teaching model, joint postgraduate/Phd programs, MoE mid-term review, campus exchange, student intake and shared laboratory resources, etc.
Collaborations with UoA’s Academic Development Centre, two institutions agreed to organise onsite SCNU academic staff training and future plans for undergraduate/ postgraduate/Phd academic support and training. The delegation also visited the Student Service and Support to discuss the internship and campus exchange opportunities. The delegation also observed UoA’s computing course teaching.
This visit strengthened institutional ties, enhancing cross-border academic support and quality.
