Aberdeen Institute Held The 2nd Joint-Faculty Teaching Workshop in 2024
Aberdeen Institute held the 2nd joint-faculty teaching workshop in 2024 on June 13th, continuing the "online and offline" format. Led by Dr. Tatiana Gladkikh from the University of Aberdeen, the workshop saw over 20 teachers from both sides engaging in learning and exchange. Professor Zeng Biqing, the Dean of Aberdeen Institute, shared insights on "Precise Teaching Practice and Reflection in University Classrooms with Students as the Center and Teaching as the Lead," offering valuable experiences from his tenure at the School of Software and proposing reforms for Aberdeen Institute's international education. The workshop also featured group discussions on enhancing student engagement, addressing issues such as student engagement problems, evaluation methods, and best practices. It provided a platform for teachers to exchange ideas and improve teaching skills, with participants expressing significant gains. This follow-up to the April 11th workshop aimed to further Aberdeen Institute's commitment to high-quality, Sino-foreign educational initiatives.
