Aberdeen Institute Held The First Joint-Faculty Teaching and Learning Workshop
In order to strengthen practical collaborative engagement among academics on pedagogic matters, the first joint-faculty teaching and learning workshop was held on April 11th. Around 20 academics from both SCNU and UoA participated in the workshop.
Prof. Aladdin Ayesh, Prof. Charming Chai and Dr. Tatiana Gladkikh gave presentations respectively under the topics of “Research-informed teaching: practices to integrate research into teaching”, “Technology supporting and innovative pedagogy”, “Co-creation of learning and teaching practices as a way of enhancing student experience”. All attending academics conducted in-depth group discussions on how to enhance the use of technology in teaching, and shared effective teaching and learning practices and experiences.
