The Second Academic Committee meeting of the Aberdeen Institute was held on the 14th November Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Steven Tucker, the dean for Quality Enhancement & Assurance of the University of Aberdeen.
AC members jointly reviewed and commented on agenda items including minute of previous meeting along with table of actions, student enrolment and numbers, student performance and progression, block teaching, graduation thesis, degree classification, SCNU evaluation by MoE and report from joint institute academic group, etc. The committee was noted the timetable for the Aberdeen Institute to engage with the MoE evaluation in 2025 with respect to the 4-year review. This review will be taken forward by the Academic Group and the Academic Committee.
